- prepare basic ingredients and accessories for the preparation of desserts
- maintain tools, appliances and devices in a proper manner
- prepare simpler desserts
- to help with the preparation and cooking of more complex desserts
- store food in an appropriate manner
- perform preparatory and auxiliary tasks in confectionery in a proper and professional manner
- apply the rules of personal hygiene, hygiene of premises, devices and accessories
- apply safety measures at work, fire protection and provide basic first aid, and use the necessary protective means and equipment
